Basketball freethrow contest winners announced by Ascencion's Knights of Columbus in LaPlace

Free throw winners with the Knights of Columbus, Ascension of our Lord, Council 9623, Grand Knight Mike Abbate.

The Knights of Columbus, Ascension of Our Lord, Council 9623, recently sponsored a Basketball Free Throw Contest Jan. 11-19 at Ascension of our Lord School in LaPlace.

These winners will advance to the district level scheduled Feb. 6 at St. Joan of Arc Family Center,  529 West 5th St., LaPlace. Registration is from 9-9:45 a.m.; contest begins at 9:45 a.m.

The Knights also announced local participants of the Keep Christ in Christmas contest.
