Cabrini provides many choices, including STEM

Who doesn’t like choices, especially when it involves choosing the perfect activities that your young daughter will enjoy doing this summer at Camp Cabrini?

“At Camp Cabrini, girls are able to customize their class schedule based on their individual interests,” said Hannah Hess, director of recruitment at Cabrini. “Whether they are ready to try something new and explore a new skill set for the first time or want to continue to grow their talents in an area for which they already have a foundation, Camp Cabrini has it all.”

Hess said Camp Cabrini – for girls entering grades 2-7 with weekly sessions, June 2-27 – is excited to offer STEM-based learning across all areas of the camp curriculum.

“This will continue to foster girls’ appreciation for and the application of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in the academic classroom and beyond,” Hess said.

Not to be lost is the camp’s positive impact on children’s self-esteem. Camaraderie is built through field trips, scavenger hunts and snowball afternoons.

“Camp Cabrini is a positive, upbeat and leadership-building setting where young girls are given the opportunity to thrive in both creating new friendships and in making life-long memories,” Hess said.

Camp Cabrini’s close-knit, nurturing setting is overseen by Cabrini High School’s faculty, staff and alumnae.

Speciality, sports camps

Cabrini also offers specialty camps in performing arts, athletic development, soccer, volleyball, softball and basketball. Dates and costs for the athletic camps are to be announced.
