ST. JOAN OF ARC CONFERENCE will be held Sept. 14, 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m., in the Myra Clare Rogers Chapel at Tulane University, 1229 Broadway St., New Orleans. The conference is free and open to the public and co-sponsored by Krewe de Jeanne d’Arc, and Tulane University’s Department of Medieval and Early Modern Studies. Catholics may be especially interested in the 2 p.m. session, “The Virtues of Joan of Arc and How They Apply to Our Modern World,” by Father David Ducote, pastor of St. Joan of Arc Church in LaPlace, as well as the 2:45 p.m. session, “Heaven Help Me: Joan of Arc as a Spiritual Guide,” by Jaymie Stuart Wolfe.
