Dec. 21 Mass to honor martyred Sisters Servants

    Archbishop Gregory M. Aymond will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving Dec. 21 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church in Metairie in honor of the beatification of four Sisters Sevants of Mary who were martryed for their faith during the Spanish civil war in 1936.
    The Sister Servants of Mary minister in the Archdiocese of New Orleans by keeping overnight vigil  with those who are seriously sick.
    The four sisters who were beatified Oct. 13 in Tarragon, Spain, were Mother Aurelia Arambari, Sister Aurora Lopez, Sister Daria Andiarne and Sister Agustine Pena. They died in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Spain.
