Dominican inducts 34 in Spanish honor society

St. Mary’s Dominican High School
inducted 34 new members into Sociedad Honoraria, Chapter La Adelitas. Spanish Honor Society members requirements include enrollment in Spanish III and Spanish Advanced Placement; completion of at least three semesters of Spanish (former Spanish III students and Spanish AP students are eligible as associate members; an overall GPA of 3.5 and 3.75 in Spanish from all previous courses. The Spanish Honor Society, founded in 1953 by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese, is for the students at North American secondary schools. The society motto is, “All Together.”
