Father Piovan scholarships given to two students

Knights of Columbus, Ascension of our Lord, Council 9623, award the Father Benjamin Piovan Memorial Scholarship to Ascension of Our Lord seventh graders Kylie Levet and Layla Torres. They will attend eighth grade at St. Charles Catholic High School in LaPlace.

The scholarships were presented May 16 at the seventh-grade promotion ceremony at Ascension of Our Lord.
