Thousands of marchers, young and old, participated Jan. 25 in the Louisiana Life March South in Baton Rouge.
The march took participants from the State Capitol to Galvez Plaza, where several speakers spoke, including Liz Murrill, solicitor general for the Louisiana Attorney General’s office, who will give oral arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court in March in favor of state law requiring physicians to have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of an abortion facility.
